Why does APY drop?

  • 1. More capital means more BERA borrowed. Higher borrow demand pushes the rate up — the strategy pays more to keep the loop running.
  • 2. More iBGT in the strategy dilutes BGT rewards. Berachain's reward emission is fixed; sharing it across more tokens reduces yield per share.
  • 3. More shorts on Hyperliquid compress funding. When the strategy has lots of short pressure, funding turns less favourable.
